The 2016 Comp Subwoofers give you deep bass and a great value. A ribbed, UV-treated surround with white double stitching binds the suspension to a thick polypropylene cone for excellent reliability. The bumped back plate allows the high-temp voice coil to move even more, so you get deeper bass without distortion.
The lowest impedance accepted by this amplifier is 2 ohms. Amplifiers that are 2 ohms stable produce more power resulting in more volume. This amp can comfortably power speakers or subwoofers with all channel(s) being used at a load of 2 ohms. Bridging an amplifier means to combine channels of a multi-channel amplifier to get more power or flexibility out of it. For instance, on a 4 channel amp, channels 1 and 2 could be used normally for your speakers, and channels 3 and 4 can be bridged for more power to a single subwoofer. A 2 channel amp can also be bridged to power a single subwoofer. We use Class D in our monoblock amplifiers to give you massive amounts of power in a relatively small footprint for clean, powerful, bass.
